The family of Peter Thorvald Lee &  Regine Johansen consisted of four boys and four girls;     Earl Harold (1886-1964), Matilda (Tillie) 1887-1959), Palma Regine (1890-1966), Peter Thorvald Jr. (1891-1965), Arthur Edwin (1893-1910) (died at 17 of appendicitis), Florence Ella (1895-1980), Victor Martin (Dick)(1897-1981),  Hazel (Dell)  (1899-     ).  Hans and Nels (twins) did not live.  There was a baby girl that was "stillborn".  There is a Lee Family plot at the Everett Cemetery.

Grandfather Lee came from Lillehammer, Norway in about 1883.  He went to Altoona, Wisconsin where the family lived until 1901.  When the family immigrated to the United States they changed their name to Lee  which meant "side of the mountain" in Norwegian.

In 1898, the Altoona Drug Company went out of business.  Peter Lee, a partner, bought the interests of Edward A. Freeman in their store and continued operating it.  In 1899 the population in Altoona dropped and so did the amount of business.

Peter T. Lee had a general merchandise store and also sold drugs, wood and coal.  In February, 1899 at about 11:00 pm a fire broke out at the Peter Lee Grocery Store.  The Altoona Post Office and Fred Brown Sr. Candy Store were also destroyed in the blaze.

In 1901 Mr. and Mrs. P. T. Lee, their four sons and four daughters moved to Everett from Altoona (Eau Claire County), Wisconsin.

In Everett P.T. Lee did various jobs.  He went to Stanwood to work in a general grocery store, Peoples Union General Merchandise. Jobs were hard to find.   P.T. Lee  lived in the store during the week and returned home on the weekends.  P.T. Lee worked in Index Mercantile Co.  He ran for County Assessor in 1910.  According to the 1910 Census P.T. Lee was County Auditor (age 47).  Palma Lee (age 20) was working as a clerk in the Court House. In 1915 P.T. Lee worked for the Central Life Assurance Society as a District Manager.
