50. Samuel⁵ Van Etten (Jan⁴, Jacob³, Jan², Jacob Jansen¹) (#2258) was born in Rowan Co, North Carolina 1776.

He married Ruth Neeley in Salisbury, North Carolina. (Ruth Neeley is #2714.) Ruth became the mother of John Van Eaton 7 Dec 1792. Ruth became the mother of Abraham Van Eaton 19 Oct 1813.

At 16 years of age Samuel became the father of John Van Eaton 7 Dec 1792. At 37 years of age Samuel became the father of Abraham Van Eaton 19 Oct 1813. Samuel changed his surname to Van Eaton. All his children went by Van Eaton.

Samuel Van Etten and Ruth Neeley had the following children:
